Eyewear manufacturer, Mondottica, has been awarded an ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard, designed to help companies ensure they are meeting customer needs.

Mondottica shared that the internationally recognised standard “ensures that our products and services meet the needs of our partners and customers through an effective Quality Management System (QMS).”

Mondottica worked with an external ISO provider and has received substantial audits to ensure the QMS and documentation are in alignment with the global standard. The certification was awarded on 10 April with no non-conformances.

The manufacturer committed to further improving its QMS in line with the ISO 9001 Quality Principles.

Tony Pessok, CEO of Mondottica, said: “I’m delighted that we have been awarded ISO 9001 certification which demonstrates our own good practices and approach to delivering for our customers and partners and to continuous improvement.”

Calling the certification a “milestone,” Pessok also recognised it as “a brilliant reflection on the great work done by our teams.”
