Call for survey participation

September 3 2012

A study investigating the nature of lifestyle modifications and other advice offered by optometrists to patients with AMD is being carried out at City University.

The project is being led by professor John Lawrenson, in partnership with colleagues at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Researchers are now asking optometrists and ophthalmologists to fill out a short online survey about the advice they give patients on slowing the disease and stopping progression.

The 15-question survey will take practitioners just a few minutes to fill out. Although it is anonymous, practitioners can chose to enter their contact details to be entered into a prize draw with the opportunity to win an £100 John Lewis gift card.
