Dispensing Optician among six charged with human trafficking

The suspects, all from London, face a number of counts including rape, sexual assault and making threats to kill the victim, said the Metropolitan Police.

Shashi Kala Obhrai, a dispensing optician from Northwood was charged with trafficking within the UK for exploitation, causing actual bodily harm and making threats to kill.

Others arrested were Aleemuddin Mohammed , a supermarket manager Harrow, Shamina Yousuf, a secretary from Edgware, Balram Kumar Obhrai, a computer entrepreneur of Northwood, Shanaz Begum, a shopworker of St Johns Wood and Enkarta Balapovi, a butcher of St Johns Wood.
All six are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on bail on Thursday June 7.
