Specialist income protection provider PG Mutual has introduced a new insurance cover aimed at healthcare technicians.
Essential Cover can provide its customers with a tax free income of £430 a month, for a £10 a month subscription during their first year of membership.
PG Mutual marketing manager, David Zerney (pictured), said: "We encourage everyone to look at their contract of employment to check the amount they would receive – and for how long – when they are taken ill or injured.
“This offer will appeal to employees who realise that the Government is handing responsibility back to the individual, as state benefits are restricted or means-tested. Having income protection cover in place could provide their financial lifeline.”
