Celebrating 25 years in frames

August 19 2012

International frames manufacturer Charmant is marking its 25th anniversary by pledging to raise €25,000 for charity.

Focusing on Japan where the company was originally founded, the money will be donated to Kinderhilfswerk/KHW Global Care, a children’s charity established to look after those orphaned by the 2011 Japanese tsunami.

The donation will be used to fund the reconstruction of a kindergarden in Kamaishi, as well as the school’s furnishings and hygiene equipment.

As part of the fundraising initiative, Charmant staff will be selling handmade Origami cranes throughout the year.

To celebrate the quarter of a century milestone, Charmant has launched a mini-site which features information on anniversary events, an online guest book and a donation ticker to keep users updated on the company’s fundraising efforts.
