MP tours The Vision Care Institute

June 15 2012

MP for Bracknell, Dr Phillip Lee, learned about the latest research and development being performed by contact lens giant J&J during a tour of its Pinewood Vision Care Institute.

Dr Lee was given a tour of the facility by its head, Kamlesh Chauhan, before hosting a Q&A session with staff which gave them the opportunity to quiz the MP on local issues such as the redevelopment of Bracknell town centre.

Contact lens wearer Dr Lee said: “It was very interesting to hear about the latest investment and development taking place within my constituency. J&J’s sustainability and energy-saving initiatives are impressive. The Q&A session with staff was particularly lively and enjoyable. It’s fantastic to be able to give direct feedback to people on such a wide variety of issues that are important to them.”
