Based Nottingham with some UK/Europe travel

This is an opportunity to head up a newly created team specialising solely on frames for the global leading optical brand Specsavers. Your remit will be to shape the strategy, communication, development and visual merchandising of new product launches and existing ranges for the UK, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands and Spain.

Last year alone, the business sold 12 million frames and increased its turnover by over 10%. An experienced Product Manager with a good understanding of the optical retail and frame industry, you will work with the frame buying team to highlight and achieve even further growth opportunities. Monitoring group frame sales activity, market trends, competitor activities, frame pricing and industry frame development, you will ensure that Specsavers remains the market leader.

Commercial acumen and strong communication skills will be essential as you define compelling frame and product communication strategies – and work with our store and product management, frame buying, retail and marketing teams to deliver them. Building on your experience of product communications, you will evaluate the market requirements and liaise with the supply chain team to introduce winning products from either the group’s portfolio or the wider market. Involved in launching products in-store in the most effective way – providing technical input on POS material, price lists and training materials, this is a new opportunity with unrivalled potential.
