Dispensing spectacles is something of an art, which requires a myriad of skills to ensure that every patient and spectacle-wearer walks away from your practice with confidence that they have the best possible spectacles for them, not only in terms of the optical performance but also the cosmetic appearance. Anyone involved with dispensing spectacles must have the ability to assist the patient in choosing a suitable frame design relative to the refractive prescription.
